How to use them

1. Before the visit

Print one worksheet for each college, or download a copy for each one to fill in on your device.

2. On campus

Tick off what you saw and asked, write down what surprised you, and give each area a rating.

3. After your visits

Copy the five ratings from each worksheet onto the comparison sheet to see every college side by side.

Filling in on screen: open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader (free on phones and computers), Chrome, Edge or Mac Preview, type into it, and save. Some phones' built-in viewers only display PDFs, so use Acrobat Reader there.

Counselors: share these with your families

Send families this page, or print copies for college visit season. Both sheets are free to share.
