1. About CollegeLogistics

CollegeLogistics ("we," "us," or "our") operates a free, independent online platform at app.collegelogistics.net that helps college students and their families find, compare, and connect with third-party logistics service providers — including storage, shipping, moving, and travel services — for college move-in and move-out transitions.

CollegeLogistics is a platform only. We do not provide, sell, or deliver any logistics services ourselves. We do not process payments on behalf of third-party providers. All transactions, agreements, and communications regarding provider services occur directly between you and the provider you select. CollegeLogistics is not a party to any such agreement.

The only service CollegeLogistics provides directly is our optional paid Concierge Service, described in Section 6 below.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the CollegeLogistics platform, you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years of age (or have parental consent if under 18)
• You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service
• You have read and agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference
• If you are using the platform on behalf of a family member or student, you have authority to accept these terms on their behalf

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Use of the Platform

3.1 Permitted Use

You may use CollegeLogistics to:

• Search for logistics service providers serving your college or university
• Access college-specific move-in and move-out guidance, rules, and checklists
• Compare provider options and connect directly with providers of your choice
• Request our optional Concierge Service
• Download free planning resources and guides

3.2 Prohibited Use

You may not use CollegeLogistics to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the platform without our written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure, servers, or networks
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
• Use the platform for any commercial purpose other than as a consumer seeking logistics services
• Post or transmit any harmful, offensive, or misleading content

4. Platform Content and Accuracy

4.1 Provider Listings

CollegeLogistics displays information about third-party logistics providers to help you make informed decisions. This information is provided for general guidance only. We do not endorse, recommend, or guarantee any provider listed on the platform.

We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of provider information, pricing, availability, or service quality. Provider information may change without notice. Always verify details directly with the provider before making any decisions or commitments.

4.2 College-Specific Guidance

We strive to maintain accurate college move-in rules, checklists, and deadlines. However, college policies change frequently. You should always verify current rules and deadlines directly with your college or university before move-in or move-out.

4.3 No Warranty

The CollegeLogistics platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

5. Third-Party Providers — Important Disclaimer

CollegeLogistics connects you with independent third-party service providers. Your relationship with any provider you contact or engage through the platform is solely between you and that provider.

CollegeLogistics is NOT responsible for: the quality, safety, legality, or fitness of any services provided by third-party providers; the accuracy of provider-supplied information; any loss, damage, injury, or dissatisfaction resulting from services booked with or provided by a third party; any disputes, claims, or issues arising between you and a provider; or provider pricing, cancellation policies, or contractual terms.

We strongly encourage you to:

• Read each provider's terms and conditions before booking
• Review each provider's privacy policy before sharing personal information
• Confirm all details — pricing, availability, pickup and delivery windows — directly with the provider
• Retain copies of all agreements, receipts, and confirmations from providers

6. Concierge Service

6.1 What the Concierge Service Is

Our optional Concierge Service is a paid service in which a CollegeLogistics representative assists you in identifying, comparing, and coordinating with logistics providers on your behalf. The Concierge Service does not include the actual provision of any logistics services — we act solely as your agent in researching and facilitating provider selection. All final provider decisions and agreements remain between you and the provider directly.

6.2 Concierge Fees and Billing

Concierge Service fees are communicated to you at the time of engagement and must be agreed to before the service begins. Payment for the Concierge Service is processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By completing payment you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service (stripe.com/legal) and Privacy Policy (stripe.com/privacy).

CollegeLogistics does not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details at any time. All payment data is collected and processed exclusively by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS compliance standards. CollegeLogistics receives only a transaction confirmation from Stripe.

Specific terms, deliverables, timelines, and refund policies applicable to the Concierge Service will be set out in a separate Concierge Service Agreement provided to you prior to payment.

6.3 Concierge Scope Limitation

Even when using the Concierge Service, CollegeLogistics does not guarantee provider availability, pricing, or service quality. We act as your research and coordination agent only. All final provider decisions remain yours, and all service agreements are between you and the provider directly.

7. User Accounts

CollegeLogistics does not currently require users to create an account to access platform features. The platform is available to all visitors without registration.

If we introduce user accounts in a future update, this section will be updated and users will be notified before account creation is required. Any account-related terms will be added at that time and will not apply retroactively.

8. Platform Infrastructure

The CollegeLogistics platform is built and hosted on Base44, a third-party no-code platform provider. By using CollegeLogistics, you acknowledge that the platform operates within Base44's infrastructure environment. We have implemented reasonable controls within that environment to protect user data, but the underlying infrastructure is subject to Base44's own terms and security practices.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the CollegeLogistics platform — including text, graphics, logos, checklists, guides, and the platform design — is the property of CollegeLogistics or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may access and use platform content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any platform content without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CollegeLogistics and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury — arising out of or related to your use of the platform or any services arranged through it.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us directly in the twelve months preceding the claim. If you have not paid us anything (i.e., you used only the free platform), our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CollegeLogistics and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your interaction with or use of any third-party provider
• Any content you submit to the platform

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Delaware.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief for violations of intellectual property rights.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

You may stop using the platform at any time. If you have submitted personal information (e.g., through a concierge request), you may request deletion of that data by contacting us at privacy@collegelogistics.net.

Sections 5, 9, 10, 11, and 12 of these Terms shall survive any termination of your access to the platform.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide additional notice via a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of CollegeLogistics after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
